2/2026 Another good visit—both at The Grille and Gold Dust West Casino. Customer service truly goes a long way, and visiting here always reminds me of being in Vegas. I frequent many dining establishments across Fernley, Sparks, Reno, and most recently Carson City, and from our experiences, Gold Dust West stands out. The employees we’ve encountered consistently provide good to great customer service and genuinely understand the value of repeat customers and long-term business. They almost always have a wait during dinner hours; however, tables turn quickly and the kitchen keeps up with demand. We’ve never waited long for our food, which says a lot during peak times. I honestly wish this level of understanding and execution could be instilled in some other nearby cities here in Northern Nevada. Grateful shout-outs to Rebecca in Guest Services, Jelly our server, and Jason (J) the bartender at GDW Casino. And at The Grille at GDW Casino—thank you to Manager Bryant, whom I truly appreciate for taking the time to have a conversation, Host Ashley, and our great server Aquiles. Also, kudos to the chef and kitchen staff for consistently delivering good-quality food in a timely manner. Great service, great teamwork, and another enjoyable visit. 12/2025 I was in the area for an appointment and, I had to stop to see if I could catch their tournament . If not st least I got my free okay and food money. Bar service is usually always good. We were fortunate to have "J" or Jason as our bartender. He is usually always very busy but is fast, efficient, and friendly as always, even with a full bar. One of the best casinos I've personally ever visited extremely friendly staffed. Machines the, food inside is to die for just do everybody plus you a favor and just follow the rules cause. Nobody wants a mad customer and no one wants to be banned for acting stupid

The hotel, casino and restaurant were extremely clean and nice. They had air purifiers everywhere. The ladies in housekeeping were kind and helpful. The gentleman at the bar, Jason, was very professional and helpful with a lot of insight of places to visit.

Overall the hotel is good with fair price, cleanliness, and good service, specially breakfasts is included. The distance is kinda far from our Tahoe trip. But with the price it worths us to come. And this is our fourth time since December. We will definitely book it again with our next ski trip.

Where do I start? Close to freeway 580/395, easy access to it. Hotel is very clean, rooms are nice, bed is very comfortable, staff is really friendly, food at the restaurant is very good and prices are very convenient. Casino is clean and spacious. Bowling center is nice too. Pool is very inviting and clean. The hotel in general is very good to give a trying if you are in the area. Highly recommended.
